In our club we are dedicated to this Scottish pipe and drum music.
The "Great Highland Bagpipe" or in this country often simply called "the bagpipe" can be learned here, as can "Scottish drumming". The drum part includes the snare, tennor and bass drums.
"How does it work, what do I have to do..."?
Something like that are the first questions we hear. They are very easy to answer:

Don’t be shy. You don't have to do much, just come by and make an appointment and let yourself be inspired.
Later, when you have chosen your favorite instrument, you can start learning. For this purpose, the club initially provides a practice instrument in the form of a “practice chanter” (also called a practice flute) or “drum pads with sticks” (i.e. a practice plate with drumsticks).
If you then realize after a while: “Yes, that’s it!”, then you would have to purchase it yourself with the initial costs. But we are also happy to provide you with advice and support.

And then, after registering in advance, you can visit us on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in 49401 Damme. Since our practice location changes from time to time, prior registration/arrangement is mandatory.
